**Industry**:Textile & Apparel

**Experience**: Minimum 2 years in the same industry

1. **Costing and pricing**: The junior merchandiser needs to work out the cost of production and pricing of the garments for exports.

2. **Sampling**: They are responsible for creating samples and getting them approved by the buyers.

3. **Production planning**: The junior merchandiser needs to plan the production process, including raw material procurement, stitching, and finishing.

4. **Quality control**: They need to ensure that the garments meet quality standards set by the buyer and should be able to identify quality issues and suggest corrective measures.
5. **Documentation**: They need to prepare all necessary documentation such as packing lists, shipment invoices, and certificates of origin etc.
6. **Communication**: Junior merchandisers are required to communicate effectively with other departments and the production team to ensure timely delivery of goods.

7. **Monitoring shipment**: They need to monitor the shipment process from the factory to the port of destination and ensure that the goods reach the buyer on time.

8. **Keeping track of the stock**: They should keep a track of the inventory level and notify the production team when restocking is required.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
