Job Title: Junior Merchant

Homemonde is a rapidly growing manufacturing company engaged in online market sales of home decor and lifestyle products. We are seeking a Junior Merchant to assist in the procurement and merchandising of our products for the Indian and overseas markets.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist senior merchants in sourcing and procuring products that meet the company's quality standards and customer demands
- Assist in negotiating prices with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best value for the company
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and new product opportunities
- Assist in developing product specifications and packaging designs
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in maintaining optimal stock levels
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to develop effective product promotions and campaigns
- Attend trade shows and industry events to stay abreast of market trends and competition
- Maintain accurate product data and pricing information in the company's database

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in business, merchandising, or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in merchandising or purchasing, preferably in the home decor or lifestyle industry
- Knowledge of merchandising and procurement principles and practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and other office software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
- Willingness to travel for trade shows and industry events

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
