Bim Coordinator

We are seeking to recruit an ambitious and dynamic BIM Coordinator to join the Integrated Complementary Resource Center Rail Metro Delivery Unit, Information Management team in Bengaluru to work alongside our UK and International Rail disciplines.

**Roles & Responsibility**:

- You will be working on a range of infrastructure schemes and will be responsible for the work prepared by a team of BIM Technicians and assists with their development to improve knowledge and strengths.
- You will be expected to play a proactive part in the design process and to be active on several projects at any given time
- You will ensure that all Models and Drawings are produced in accordance with the relevant technical standards, in adherence to WSP's and the Client's CAD & BIM Standards documentation.
- You will actively develop the CAD and BIM skills and capabilities of a team and ensure deployment is appropriate to Rail business and projects
- You will assist in the development of strategic BIM documentation, including BIM Execution Plans, BIM Standards and protocols.
- You will contribute to our Lean approach to driving efficiency and removing waste from our processes.
- You will work under the guidance of the project manager or designated discipline lead.
- You will be involved with resource management, utilisation forecast, production of fee proposals and recruitments as required.
- You will read, adhere and ensure compliance to all relevant policies and procedures for Health and Safety including the H&S Policy, H&S Manual, and Local Procedures Manual.
- Take responsibility for own personal development with the support of line manager and follow an agreed development plan.

**Key Competencies / Skills**:
**Mandatory Skills**:

- Ability to utilise Autodesk Revit, BIM 360/ACC and Bentley AECOsim/OpenBuilding Designer, ProjectWise, & iTwin Applications in adherence to defined CAD & BIM standards to lead and develop engineering Models and drawings.
- Ability to liaise with the design teams as necessary to coordinate design, 3D BIM Modelling and drawing production.
- Capable of multi-tasking and managing multiple projects with the ability to accurately predict the time required to fulfil the individual scopes of work required.
- Assists with establishing, maintaining and enforcing the use of proper CAD & BIM standards and procedures.
- Undertake reviews of work produced by others to ensure high quality of CAD & BIM output.
- Ability to customise and automate programs and menus to increase 3D model and drawing productivity
- UK /International Rail project experience and knowledge of UK / International design standards
- You should be able to demonstrate some experience and working knowledge of relevant technical design guidance and standards, such as RIBA, ISO19650.
- Ability to understand and communicate BIM and CAD standards for use on MEP Engineering projects and possessing an appropriate overall level of knowledge of the UK / International Rail infrastructure design sector.
- Proficient in the use of standard office software
- Proficiency in the use of Autodesk Revit, BIM 360/ACC and Bentley AECOsim/OpenBuilding Designer, ProjectWise, & iTwin. You should be able to set up BIM models to the project standards and liaising with Model Managers.
- Experience of using and optimising CAD & BIM resource libraries (Revit Families,Templates, cells / blocks, objects, seed files, etc).
- Experience of supervising and coordinating the CAD & BIM output of others (either directly or indirectly) within a multi-disciplinary project environment.
