Dairy Production Incharge

The Dairy Manager is responsible for leading the team to milk and manage cows, and raise heifers. The Manager must have a can-do attitude, be able to lead and motivate employees, and keep track of feed and supplies. Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years of farm work experienceDegree in Animal Science or BusinessStrong employee management skillsKnowledge of dairy production and animal healthAbility to work long hours and be flexible in busy seasonsGood communication skillsTeam building skillsAbility to build & maintain relationships with advisors, consultants, and suppliersDecision-making skillsStrong computer skillsAbility to lift 50 lbs Primary Duties:Lead and organize farm employees, including hiring, training and feedbackTrack and manage feed inventoryManage relationship and performance of heifer growersOrder parts to keep farm running smoothlyTrack dry matter intake (DMI) of herdManage financial records and reportingSupervise payrollMaintain a positive attitudeAct as a team player Secondary Duties:Provide safety training and ensure compliance with safe work proceduresProvide input to Executive Secretary for assigned areas of responsibilityGet feed weightsRepairs on buildings and equipmentSupervise outside crewWood stovesOther duties as assigned by Board
**Job Type**: Regular / Permanent
**Salary**: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
