**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Managing end-to-end compliances under GST- preparation / reviewing tax computations and periodic GST returns
- Effectively understanding & responding to regular Indirect Tax queries of clients
- Assisting seniors in litigation matters of clients including drafting replies to show cause notices, drafting appeals, attending personal hearing, representing the client before authorities, etc.
- Managing GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C assignments including planning of the assignments
- Managing IDT due diligence/ reviewing assignments
- Managing multiple clients and being SPOC ensuring regular communication and interaction with on-going assignments and new developments
- Developing and maintaining relationship with clients
- Preparing proposals and pitch presentations
- Assisting managers with respect to MIS preparation and tracking billings and receivables
- Regular review of deliverables and taking responsibility over timelines and quality of deliverables
- Researching on various critical litigative issue and conducting regular technical trainings/ knowledge sharing sessions within team
- Ensuring that regular updates are sent to clients covering the detailed analysis of the impact
- Supporting managers in article writing
- Mentoring/ guiding consultants and trainees of the team

**Desired Profile**:

- Education: CA/ LLB with relevant exposure in Indirect Tax
- 3-4 years of post-qualification experience in GST and Customs including FTP, Service Tax, Central Excise, VAT/ CST
- Working knowledge of GST Portal
- Possess in-depth knowledge of Indirect Tax laws including FTP
- Experience in regular compliances along with advisory and litigation

- Client facing experience with ability to build good relationship with them
- Leadership and people management skills
- Strong MS Excel skills, along with good working knowledge of other MS Office programs
