**Ansible Administrator**

**Description**

DXC Technology India is seeking great talent to join the Application Operations group.

The Ansible Administrator is responsible for designing, developing, documenting, and supporting Ansible environment, Creating maintaining and modifying playbooks in ansible.

The Engineer is motivated to take strong ownership on actions, to find innovative ways to improve the services’ agility and efficiency, and to continuously gain more skills.

As a team member, good exposure will be provided to you on latest technologies like, Microservices, API & Cloud native development.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop Ansible playbooks and modules using bash and Python as needed.
- Work collaboratively within the Engineering team to create and deploy Ansible solutions for a distributed datacenter infrastructure environment.
- Administer Ansible infrastructure, perform maintenance and configuration
- Update system and process documentation, user guides, SOPs, and diagrams as needed
- Should have experience in migration of playbooks from one environment to another or ansible tower
- Execute the duties and responsibilities as a member of the Engineering team to modernize the current environment and improve the team’s automation processes, procedures, and governance
- Create a scalable framework around building and maintaining API’s and integrations.
- Work with delivery team to understand functional requirements and interact with other cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test.

**Desired Skills and Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Ansible Administration, API integration code development and complex integration projects.
- An in-depth understanding of Ansible infrastructure.
- Design and implementation experience with one or more of the integration technologies (Rest API, SOAP etc.)
- Experience with C#, Java, Python, JSON, PowerShell, AWS or Azure cloud environments, Ansible, Windows environments, Git, and relevant IDE’s (Visual Studio, Code, etc.) is preferred.
