Job Responsibilities
- A high-level performing individual contributor with strong relationships and the ability to drive parts of an initiative or tasks in contribution to specific project experiences.
- Contributes to coherent visual and interaction designs across flows and channels.
- Generates guidelines for design standards and patterns, style guides and frameworks. Advocates for new design standards and patterns, in collaboration with product, marketing, and engineering teams, based on brand guidelines and user feedback.
- Evangelizes design best practices through trainings, playbooks and case studies. Demonstrates understanding of business case for design.
- Translate brand principles, themes, and moods into strategic frameworks for visual expressions
- Create scalable design language systems for typography, colour, components, and layouts
- Create multi-media narratives that tell engaging stories of a team, project, or deliverable, with the audience and communication objective in mind

Key Competencies
- Excellent core visual or interaction design skills with strong technical capabilities in prototyping, font-end presentation technology and user centred design methods.
- Designs components, patterns and system-level attributes using gestalt principles Understands design systems and knows how to work within them and how to build and expand systems based on use cases.
- Identifies and clarifies relationships between patterns.
- Makes decisions that support future flexibility.
- Evolve design; by building on either existing direction, or creating one from scratch
- Drive collaboration with Engineering and business teams to align from the design purpose to the execution roadmap
- Collaboratively create digital product concepts that push the bar for quality and excellence in each domain/industry
- Craft a foundation for Design System, typography, iconography, colour, grid, and design components
- Strong understanding of Human Centered Design
- Should be able to analyze and understand new domains quickly, become the “timely expert”
- Function as team's advocate, to the engineering, analytics, sales and project management teams
- Strong Knowledge of the design process and progam management
- Ability to negotiate and coordinate across multiple groups and disciplines

Basic Qualifications:

- 3-6 years relevant experience in UX/UI design
- Degree in design field
- Should be an excellent communicator
- Highly developed design skills, demonstrated in portfolio of recent work
- Confident presentation and storytelling abilities
- Experience collaborating in multifunctional teams as the visual design lead
- Proficiency with contemporary design and prototyping tools and methods

Preferred Qualifications:

- Exposure to working across time zone and locations is preferred.
- Strong understanding of contemporary technology platforms and emerging technologies
- Automotice HMI design and/or Design for/in Mobility experience is preferred
- Consulting experience strongly preferred

Eligibility Requirements:

- Willingness to travel 35% of the time
