Key Responsibilities:

- **Curriculum Planning and Delivery**:

- Design and implement engaging lessons based on the prescribed syllabus.
- Teach English literature, language skills, composition, and grammar.

- Ensure that students understand key literary concepts, including analysis, criticism, and interpretation.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Prepare assignments, quizzes, and exams for student evaluation.
- Grade assignments, projects, and exams fairly and on time.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their academic performance.
- Maintain records of student progress and performance.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
- Ensure that students participate actively and foster a love for reading and literature.
- Handle classroom discipline effectively and encourage a respectful atmosphere.
- **Student Support**:

- Offer academic assistance to struggling students through remedial lessons.
- Motivate students to achieve their full potential.
- Organize extra-curricular activities related to language and literature (e.g., debates, poetry recitations, drama).
- **Communication and Collaboration**:

- Maintain effective communication with parents regarding students' progress.
- Collaborate with other teachers to align the curriculum and address students' academic needs.
- Participate in school meetings, staff development programs, and teacher training workshops.
- **Professional Development**:

- Stay updated on the latest trends and methodologies in teaching English.
- Attend professional development sessions and seminars.
- Incorporate feedback from senior teachers and school leadership to improve teaching methods.
