**Overview**
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be the driving force behind Yalavarti Projects Pvt Ltd’s growth, operational excellence, and strategic direction. Leading the organization in a highly competitive MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) sector, the CEO will focus on fostering long-term relationships, managing large-scale projects, and driving innovation to position Yalavarti Projects as a premier MEP contracting company. This role requires a leader with extensive experience in MEP, project management, and cross-functional leadership to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.
**Primary Responsibilities**1. **Strategic Vision and Leadership**
- **Vision & Growth Strategy**: Craft and execute a visionary strategy to scale Yalavarti Projects in the Indian and international markets. Establish the company's brand as a trusted and innovative provider in the MEP contracting industry.
- **Market Expansion**: Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities within key sectors, including industrial, commercial, IT, healthcare, and infrastructure. Evaluate new business avenues, partnerships, and acquisitions to support the company’s market presence and expansion goals.
- **Innovation & Technology Integration**: Champion the adoption of new technologies, including ERP systems for project management, smart panels, automation solutions, and energy efficiency services, to enhance project execution, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
2. **Operational Management**
- **Project Execution Excellence**: Oversee the planning, design, and delivery of MEP services, ensuring compliance with industry standards, timelines, and safety regulations. Maintain high standards of quality and cost-effectiveness across all projects.
- **Resource Optimization**: Direct resource allocation to maximize efficiency and reduce costs. Drive continuous improvements in processes, implementing lean practices to ensure projects meet budget constraints without compromising quality.
- **Safety and Compliance**: Uphold Yalavarti's commitment to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards, implementing rigorous safety protocols and ensuring compliance with ISO and CRISIL standards in all project sites.
3. **Financial Stewardship**
- **Financial Planning and Budgeting**: Develop annual budgets, forecast revenue, and implement financial strategies to ensure fiscal discipline. Optimize financial performance through strategic cost management, margin improvement, and risk management.
- **Profitability and Revenue Growth**: Set and achieve ambitious revenue targets, with a focus on profitability and long-term growth. Monitor cash flow and balance sheet health, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
- **Investment and Resource Allocation**: Oversee capital expenditures and resource allocation for optimal utilization and returns. Evaluate potential investments, acquisitions, and new projects, balancing financial risk with strategic opportunity.
4. **Client and Stakeholder Relations**
- **Client Engagement & Retention**: Establish and nurture relationships with key clients, including government bodies, OEMs, and private sector clients such as L&T, ABB, and Schneider. Act as the face of the organization in major client engagements and industry events.
- **Partnerships & Alliances**: Develop strategic alliances and partnerships with industry leaders and technology providers. Negotiate terms and build long-lasting partnerships that add value to Yalavarti’s service portfolio.
- **Stakeholder Communication**: Keep the Board of Directors and other stakeholders informed with regular updates on business progress, challenges, and achievements. Foster a culture of transparency and accountability.
5. **People Leadership and Development**
- **Team Building & Culture**: Lead a diverse team of over 1,100 professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and operational excellence. Cultivate a collaborative and positive work environment that attracts and retains top talent.
- **Training & Development**: Promote continuous learning and professional development, particularly in project management, safety standards, and technical skills. Implement programs that enhance team capabilities, safety awareness, and compliance.
- **Performance Management**: Set performance benchmarks, conduct regular evaluations, and ensure that high performers are recognized. Address gaps in performance and build a succession pipeline for critical leadership roles.
**Qualifications**
- **Experience**: 15+ years in senior leadership roles within MEP, infrastructure, or construction sectors, with proven experience in project management and business development.
