We are seeking a highly motivated Executive - Accounts Payable to join our Finance team on a full-time basis:
**Position Description (A brief overview of the overall purpose of the position)**

The Accounts Payable accountant is responsible for the managing the payables transactions ensuring the timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements across business units/regions. This role will support process standardization, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, and maintaining strong relationship with vendors and internal stakeholders and support continuous improvement initiatives within the Accounts payable function.

**Major Responsibilities & Accountabilities**:

- Accurately process vendor and Intercompany invoices in compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and intercompany transactions
- Maintain accurate vendor accounts incl setup and updates incl vendor account reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control frameworks (SOX compliance)
- Prepare and present AP ageing reports and payment summaries, exception reports and support continuous improvements within the Accounts payable function.
- Sox Compliance.
- Required to support the implementation of an upgraded ERP system for the Finance module
