**Position Title**: Continental Chef

**Job Summary**:As a Continental Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and cooking of Continental cuisine in a restaurant or kitchen setting. Your role involves creating and executing menu items, managing kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and presentation, and supervising kitchen staff.

**Responsibilities**:
**Menu Development**: Designing and developing Continental cuisine menu items.

**Food Preparation**: Ensuring high-quality preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes.

**Kitchen Management**: Supervising kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment.

**Staff Supervision**: Leading and guiding kitchen staff, assigning tasks, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.

**Quality Control**: Monitoring food quality, consistency, and portion sizes to meet established standards.

**Adherence to Regulations**: Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.

**Collaboration**: Coordinating with the restaurant management team to plan and execute special events, promotions, or menu changes.

**Cost Control**: Monitoring food costs, minimizing wastage, and optimizing kitchen operations to maintain profitability.

**Requirements**:
Proven experience as a Continental Chef or similar role in a high-volume kitchen environment.

In-depth knowledge of Continental cuisine, cooking techniques, and food presentation.

Strong leadership and managerial skills to effectively lead a kitchen team.

Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.

Creativity and innovation in menu planning and dish preparation.

Ability to work under pressure and manage a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Culinary degree or relevant certifications may be preferred.

**Optional**:

- Familiarity with cost control and budget management.
- Multilingual skills may be advantageous in some settings, especially if working in a multicultural environment.

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
