Position - Executive Planning & Procurement

Location: Dahej, Bharuch, (Gujarat), INDIA

**Key Responsibilities**:
Production Planning
- Plan all aspects of production in line with Site Master Production Schedule (MPS).
- Monitor schedule against actual production times & material usage.
- Minimize equipment non-productive time - Raw Material & Intermediate steps waiting time,etc.
- Maintain master data in ERP system necessary to support MRP & Purchasing functions.
- Responsible to ensure production of ingredients manufactured at site, in accordance with requirement (MPS) and in the limit of the targeted inventory level.
- Propose and discuss with Production Management for the capacity analysis for the critical work centers (equipment).
- Provide the necessary support to production.
- Work closely with other support functions like Purchasing / Logistics (Export/Import) / Production/Sourcing.
- Other duties as required

Raw Material Planning
- Plan & Order raw material needs through a combination of MRP analysis and physical inventory verification.
- Propose volume figures for raw material yearly contract to purchasing/Sourcing team and for tolling to alliance group.
- Validate the Purchase Info Record (PIR) for the item to be order with help of Sourcing & Purchasing.
- Once Purchase requestion is validated, Order will be placed by planner.

Raw Material Procurement
- Once order is placed, coordination with Supplier & Logistics to get RM at site based on purchasing lead time.
- Co-ordinate with local custom handling agents (CHA) for port clearance.
- Planner will make sure payment to logistics & supplier vendor are paid on time with their payment terms.

**We value**:

- B Sc with Chemistry or BE in Chemical or Material Management
- 3-6 years of experience in production planning in chemical plant.
- SAP R3 & SAP APO
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in Production & Raw Material Planning of batch process is highly preferred.
- Experience in SEZ area is highly preferred.
