Qualification:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech).

Experience:

  • 10–15 years of relevant experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven experience in maintenance management, project execution, and utilities management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the engineering team responsible for plant maintenance, utilities, and project execution.
  • Plan, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimal downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards, as well as statutory and regulatory audits.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support production and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and manage budgets for maintenance, utilities, and engineering projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant reliability and operational excellence.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop engineering staff to build a high-performing team.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of maintenance practices, utilities, and engineering systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Sound understanding of regulatory compliance in the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
