**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Job responsibilities**
- Improve operational stability and availability through participation in problem management
- Monitor production environments for anomalies and address issues utilizing standard observability tools
- Assist in the escalation and communication of issues and solutions to the business and technology stakeholders

**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- 2+ years of experience or equivalent expertise troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services
- Familiarity with processes in scope of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework
- Working knowledge of development toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software
- Change Release, Problem Management and Incident Management: Follow all standard procedures as per ITIL
- Automation and toil reduction : Understand manual repetitive work currently carried out and implement scripts or leverage tools/technologies to automate and reduce manual toil

**Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Knowledge of one or more general purpose programming languages or automation scripting
- Scripting knowledge in Shell, Python, Java script; Databases : Sybase, Oracle.
- Tools : Geneos, Cloudwatch, Splunk, Grafana, Dynatrace, ServiceNow, Symphony, Zoom, Autosys etc
