**Description**
- Provide comprehensive medical care to critically ill patients admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of complex medical conditions.
- Monitor and stabilize patients' vital signs, hemodynamic parameters, and organ function using advanced monitoring equipment and invasive monitoring techniques as necessary.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including intensivists, nurses, respiratory therapists, and allied health professionals, to develop and implement individualized care plans for ICU patients.
- Perform invasive procedures and interventions, including endotracheal intubation, central venous catheterization, arterial line placement, and bedside procedures, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Administer and titrate medications, fluids, and vasoactive agents to maintain hemodynamic stability, manage pain, sedation, and agitation, and support organ function in critically ill patients.
- Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies, including laboratory results, electrocardiograms (ECG), chest X-rays, and CT scans, to guide clinical decision-making and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Participate in clinical rounds, case conferences, and interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient progress, treatment strategies, and discharge planning, ensuring continuity of care and effective communication among healthcare team members.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress notes accurately and timely in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, maintaining comprehensive and up-to-date medical records for continuity of care and billing purposes.
