**Job Title: Purchase Officer (FMCG).**

- The Mega Store, near Chowpati, Athwa Gate, Surat, Gujarat 395001**

**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:
**1. Vendor Management**:

- Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers for FMCG products.
- Negotiate terms, prices, and contracts with vendors to secure favorable terms and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain strong communication channels with vendors to address any issues or concerns promptly.

**2. Sourcing and Procurement**:

- Research and stay updated on market trends, pricing, and FMCG product availability.
- Source FMCG merchandise that aligns with the store's brand and target market.
- Coordinate with internal departments to understand their FMCG product requirements and ensure timely procurement.

**3. Inventory Management**:

- Monitor FMCG inventory levels and anticipate demand to avoid stockouts or overstock situations.
- Work closely with the FMCG inventory management team to optimize stock levels and inventory turnover.

**4. Quality Assurance**:

- Conduct FMCG quality inspections of merchandise upon receipt to ensure compliance with specifications and standards, as per FSSAI.
- Address any quality issues with vendors and take necessary corrective actions.

**5. Budgeting and Cost Control**:

- Develop and manage departmental budgets, ensuring procurement activities are within budgetary constraints.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings through negotiation, bulk purchasing, or alternative sourcing strategies.

**6. Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of FMCG purchases, contracts, and FMCG vendor agreements.
- Generate reports on FMCG procurement activities, budget utilization, and FMCG inventory levels as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Proven experience as a purchase officer or in a FMCG procurement role, preferably in the retail industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building and maintaining FMCG vendor relationships.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze market trends and make data-driven procurement decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

**Experience**:

- 5-7 years in FMCG procurement in retail departmental store.
- Salary range: 25,000 to 30,000 per month.

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
