**Job Title: Sales Coordinator**
**Job Summary**:
The Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting the sales team, organizing sales-related activities, managing customer accounts, and ensuring effective communication between the sales department and other teams. The role involves administrative tasks, sales reporting, coordinating meetings, processing orders, and providing customer support to ensure that sales goals are achieved.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Sales Support**:
- Assist the sales team with day-to-day activities to ensure they can focus on sales growth.
- Coordinate sales appointments, meetings, and client follow-ups.
- Provide administrative support, including preparing sales presentations and proposals.
- **Order Processing**:
- Process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Track orders from initiation to completion, communicating with customers about order status.
- Liaise with the logistics or warehouse team to manage inventory and ensure order fulfillment.
- **Customer Relationship Management**:
- Communicate with customers to understand their needs, resolve issues, and answer product-related queries.
- Maintain a database of customer information, preferences, and sales history.
- Ensure that customer complaints or concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
- **Sales Reporting and Data Management**:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records and reports.
- Prepare regular reports on sales activities, revenue forecasts, and market trends.
- Analyze sales data to help identify opportunities for growth or areas for improvement.
- **Team Coordination**:
- Assist in the scheduling and coordination of sales meetings, trade shows, and other events.
- Act as a point of contact for the sales team, providing guidance and support when needed.
- Collaborate with other departments (marketing, customer service, finance) to ensure seamless operations.
- **Sales Documentation**:
- Ensure all sales documents, contracts, and agreements are accurately completed and filed.
- Update and manage the CRM system for effective tracking of sales progress and customer interactions.
- **Training and Development**:
- Provide support in onboarding new sales team members and helping them become familiar with internal processes.
- Assist in the preparation of sales training materials.
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- **Education**: A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is typically required.
- **Experience**: Prior experience in a sales or administrative role is preferred, especially in a customer-facing environment.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with CRM software is beneficial.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and the sales team.
- **Organizational Skills**: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage several projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- **Attention to Detail**: Ability to process and organize sales data accurately and efficiently.
- **Problem-Solving Skills**: Ability to handle customer concerns and provide appropriate solutions.
