**Job Description and Qualifications**

**NDT Supervisor**

**Nature and Scope**

To monitor conventional UT and Automated UT, DPT, MPT & RT conducted by the NDE contractor and ensure proper techniques and procedures are followed to obtain desired results.

Daily review of Radiography films, check shot checks, RT joints identification.

Daily providing report of NDT to the Quality Manager.

**PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Must have in-depth knowledge and practical experience of Conventional UT, automated UT, Radiography film interpretation.
- Must have hands on experience in DAC establishment, implementation of scan plans, interpretation of the PAUT Scans.
- Should lead the NDT activities at yard and shall notify any discrepancies to the quality manager.
- NDE planning and tracing of the repair percentage

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering and Level 2 certification in DPT & MPT.
- PCN Level 2 in PAUT with minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- PCN Level 2 or ISO 9712 Level 2 in RTFI with minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of ASME, ISO, API, EN and other applicable codes & standards
- Excellent English language proficiency is required (oral and written) and language of country origin.

**Experience**
- At least 10 years of working experience.
- Should have knowledge of PAUT and UT techniques.
- Should be competent enough to interpret the PAUT Scan.
- Should be able to implement scan plans.
- Should have thorough knowledge on radiography film interpretation.
