The new tech-hub in Bangalore is driving Global Expansion, a charter that unlocks major growth opportunities for Omio and makes travel planning for customers in new geographies simple, flexible and personal.
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced People Operations Advisor to join our team in Bangalore, India. In this mid-level role, you will be responsible for supporting the full spectrum of HR processes and creating a positive and efficient employee experience across global locations. You will be the primary point of contact for employees regarding HR-related topics, and you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our people operations processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for employee questions and HR-related queries.
- Support the complete range of global HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, leaves, payroll, contract management, visa processing, and relocation support.
- Assist in drafting contracts, certificates, and reference letters.
- Collaborate with external payroll providers and internal finance teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Maintain and update the HR management system (HRIS) and employee records.
- Generate reports and statistics related to people data and performance metrics.
- Conduct onboarding sessions and ensure smooth transitions for new hires.
- Oversee offboarding processes and conduct exit interviews when necessary.
- Facilitate visa and relocation processes for international employees.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as the Legal and Finance teams to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Drive HR projects focused on process improvement and employee experience.
**Qualifications**
- 3-5 years of experience in an HR operational role, preferably in a startup, medium-sized company, or global expansion environment.
- A degree or professional qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
- Solid understanding of employment regulations across different countries and administrative processes, including payroll administration and parental leave.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a passion for accuracy and efficiency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working remotely and independently.
- Ability to handle confidential information sensitively and appropriately.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a practical, solution-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems (such as Workday) and experience with process automation.
- A positive attitude and enthusiasm for contributing to a dynamic, collaborative, and globally diverse environment.
