About the role

The role is responsible for supporting Contract Management activities in line with the directions from the Category/Contract leads, (including managing VEP, contract plans or triaged from the Procurement Portal), including providing commercial support, advice and insights to support Contract Owners and Category Managers for the assigned contracts/vendors within their category.

What will your day look like

Proactive administration and management of assigned contracts inclusive of KPI’s reporting if required, spend analytics, identification of scope creep and off-contract spend
Provide ongoing commercial advice on the execution requirements of assigned contracts/ Master Services Agreement and support any Q&A from Contract Owners or Suppliers
Support the buying channels requirements that are globally documented to ensure suppliers meeting their obligations for good content/catalogues and price lists that are kept up to date and accurate to drive contract compliance and budget compliance
Support and coach suppliers and contract owners/OCMs to optimize supplier performance within the contract terms, keep abreast of spend against contracts and off-contract spend and work with Category leads and Contract Owners to help mitigate leakage
Assists Category Leads/Management to identify any performance risks which and support governance requirements as needed
Manage contract/scope variations in line with the Category plan, and help support dispute resolution for assigned contracts working with Category Leads and Contract Owners as appropriate
Works collaboratively across Procurement including OCM teams and Business to support management of assigned contract portfolio to help preserve, maintain and uplift value and manage any performance risks
Support Procurement Operations R2P processes by ensuring contract and catalogue content obligations from suppliers are met so information is update to date according to contract requirements
What will you bring?

This role is to perform Global Sourcing for IT Hardware, Software, and related services category. This role involves having complete know how of the above category, understanding the market, contract management Skills, Supplier and Client Management Skills. This role needs deeper understanding of cross border sourcing transactions, global taxation, and Strategic Negotiation Skills. Sourcing Expertise on Domain Category is much needed to interlock with all stakeholders and suppliers

Relevant specific category procurement experience < 10 Years
Good commercial acumen
Understanding of how to manage risk and demonstrate procurement disciplines
Able to problem solve and deal with some level of ambiguity
Good communicator, stakeholder, and relationship management
Understands risks and appropriate control options
Understanding supply market dynamics, Third Party Risk and Regulatory requirements
Understanding of end-to-end procurement lifecycle management across Source to Contract through to Req. to Pay
Good understanding of Ariba system and data standards
Experience in a Vendor management, contract management or Sourcing
Experience across categories different categories
Social Value, CSR
Bachelor’s Degree
Membership with industry bodies (optional)
Project management certification (optional)
