Senior Category Manager

About this role
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead the development and execution of category plans strategies for indirect spend.
This position will direct sourcing team resources and engage key stakeholders on execution of category plans, including sourcing execution, contract negotiation, market intelligence, analytics, and supplier management.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop short to mid-term strategy for category plans
- Build relationships with internal business customers, legal, and finance partners at director level
- Direct sourcing resources to update and execute against category plan
- Set category strategies, goals, and KPIs to optimize spend, reduce risk, and improve supplier performance
Required skills and qualifications:
- 7+ years business/category management experience
- 10+ years sourcing experience
Skill set required:
- Category management experience
- Sourcing/spend analysis experience
- Negotiating complex contracts
