**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Crop Planting and Harvesting**:

- Operate machinery for planting and harvesting crops.
- Ensure timely and accurate planting, growing, and harvesting according to schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of crop planting and harvest timelines.
- **Land Preparation**:

- Use heavy equipment for plowing, tilling, and fertilizing soil.
- Implement crop rotation strategies and manage soil health.
- **Pesticide and Fertilizer Application**:

- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
- **Machinery Operation and Maintenance**:

- Operate and maintain agricultural machinery, including tractors, harvesters, sprayers, and tillers.
- Perform regular maintenance and minor repairs on machinery to ensure optimal functioning.
- Monitor equipment performance and report any issues to the farm owner or manager.
- **Irrigation Management**:

- Set up and operate irrigation systems.
- Monitor water usage and adjust systems to maintain optimal soil moisture.
- Troubleshoot and repair irrigation equipment as needed.
- **Field and Crop Monitoring**:

- Monitor the health of crops and provide early detection of pests, diseases, or other issues.
- Conduct regular inspections to assess soil health and crop growth.
- Advise on best practices for crop management.
- **Compliance and Reporting**:

- Submit regular progress reports and updates to the farm owner or manager.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project.
- **Other Tasks**:

- Assist with other agricultural duties as assigned by the farm owner or manager.
- Collaborate with farm staff or other contractors when necessary.
