Textile Designer

Our company working in the home furnishings industry for the last 6 decades is looking to hire a talented têxtile designer to join our creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing original prints and patterns for our fabrics and têxtile products. Key responsibilities include:
1. Creating unique designs and motifs for fabrics, apparel, home goods, and other têxtile products
Staying on top of trends in color, print, and texture to develop innovative designs.
2. Collaborating with the product development team to ensure designs are feasible for production.
3. Working within technical specifications and constraints for different printing/weaving methods.
4. Presenting design concepts through sketches, color swatches, and sample motif boards.
5. Adapting designs based on feedback from internal teams and external clients
The qualification required for Textile designer:
1. Formal training in têxtile design or related field
2. Strong portfolio demonstrating têxtile design skills and creativity
3. Expertise in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
4. Knowledge of printing, dying, embroidery, and other têxtile production techniques
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Pay: From ₹22,000.00 per month
