**VANARAI**:

- a leading NGO focused on sustainable rural development and environmental conservation, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Agriculture Expert to join their team. The Agriculture Expert will play a crucial role in planning, implementing, and monitoring various agricultural enhancement programs at the organization's project sites. This position requires expertise in agricultural practices, project management, and team leadership. The details are given below

1. Plan, implement, and monitor various agricultural enhancement programs at current project sites.

2. Lead the agricultural field team, ensuring adherence to proper Plans of Practice (PoP) and measuring impact at different stages of the projects. Provide necessary support and guidance to the field team.

3. Prepare PoPs for region-wise and season-wise cropping patterns, considering factors like soil fertility, climate conditions, and market demands.

4. Organize and implement agricultural training programs within and outside project sites for the benefit of rural beneficiaries. Design and deliver effective training modules.

5. Provide guidance and support to beneficiaries in line with the project's objectives and scope. Address their agricultural concerns and assist in improving their farming practices.

6. Plan and execute demonstration plots as per approved PoPs, showcasing best practices and innovative techniques to enhance agricultural productivity.

7. Organize and implement training programs for field staff, inviting experts to improve their skills and knowledge in agricultural practices.

8. Plan and utilize modern agricultural methods of irrigation to enhance the value of beneficiaries' land parcels. Explore and implement efficient irrigation systems.

1. Gender: Male or Female

2. Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Agriculture (Crop Science) from a leading agricultural university.

3. Experience: 6 years and above in a leading NGO or similar organization, with a strong background in agricultural development.

4. Location: Vanarai Head Office, Pune, with regular visits to project sites as required.

5. Key Skills: Excellent planning abilities, scientific designing of PoPs, team management, proficiency in necessary computer skills.

6. Languages: Proficiency in Marathi, Hindi, and English is required.
