Job Description: Performance Tester

**Location**: Remote
**Shift Timings**: Flexible start between 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and end between 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design, execute, and analyze performance testing plans to assess system performance under expected and peak workloads.
- Utilize tools like Apache JMeter (mandatory), LoadRunner, Gatling, and Apache Benchmark (ab) to create and manage test scripts.
- Monitor, analyze, and report performance metrics, identifying bottlenecks and areas for optimization.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and QA teams to resolve performance issues and ensure the system meets scalability and reliability requirements.
- Develop comprehensive performance testing documentation, including test strategies, plans, and result reports.

**Required Skills**:

- **Mandatory**:

- Expertise in **Apache JMeter** for creating and executing performance test scripts.
- **Preferred**:

- Proficiency with performance testing tools like **LoadRunner**, **Gatling**, and **Apache Benchmark (ab)**.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret performance test results and identify system issues.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and techniques for resource utilization analysis (e.g., CPU, memory, I/O).
- Knowledge of scripting languages for enhancing test automation.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8 to12 + years of experience in performance testing and engineering.

**Other Requirements**:

- Strong communication skills to document and communicate findings effectively.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup while collaborating with global teams.
- Flexibility to adapt to overlapping time zones with stakeholders if required.

**Job Type**: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹180,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- UK shift
- US shift
