
Back Office Executive

The Back Office Executive will support the payment gateway operations by processing transactions, resolving issues, and providing administrative support. The role involves handling routine tasks such as data entry, report generation, transaction monitoring, and responding to customer queries related to payment gateway services.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Transaction Processing**:
- Monitor daily transactions processed through the payment gateway.
- Ensure smooth processing of online payments, refunds, and chargebacks.
- Assist in the resolution of payment discrepancies or failures.
- **Data Management**:
- Maintain accurate records of payment transactions and customer details.
- Update payment logs and generate reports for internal review and audit purposes.
- **Customer Support**:
- Respond to queries from customers and merchants regarding payment issues.
- Liaise with the technical support team to troubleshoot payment gateway issues.
- **Compliance and Security**:
- Ensure that all payment processes comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Monitor for potential fraud or security threats and escalate issues as needed.
- **Coordination**:
- Work closely with the finance team to reconcile accounts and ensure proper documentation of transactions.
- Coordinate with banks, payment processors, and other third-party service providers.
- **Report Generation**:
- Prepare regular reports on payment gateway performance, transaction volumes, and issue resolutions.
- Assist in forecasting and analysis of payment trends.
- **Continuous Improvement**:
- Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors in payment processing.
- Stay updated on new developments in payment technologies and integrate them into operations where applicable.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in back-office operations, preferably in the payment gateway industry or financial services.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and knowledge of payment processing software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
