For more details about the Function please visit this Link **Purpose of the role** **Job Overview** Manage supply chain finance functions for designated external manufacturing locations. Be a front face and the first point of contact to the company and build a robust relationship with external manufacturing locations. Will be responsible for Financial Accuracy of External Supply Chain Locations and at finished product warehouses as part of the Supply Chain Accounting team. This position would support the ESC & Warehouse FSL. **KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**- Communication with External Manufacturers primarily for Inventory, Payables, Materials Usage, Volume analysis, Payment variances, Actual V/s Plan volume analysis, Product Costing and Manufacturing Variances. - Communication with Logistics, Warehouse Operators, SC Accounting global center of excellence, Finance. 10% of Time Month end activities: - Approve journal entries - Cost Centre Review - Account Reconciliations - Variance Analysis & reporting 20% of Time Daily Activities: - Inventory Stock Adjustment review and approval - Usage Analysis (Monthly / Annual) - Act as business process liaison between many different - Planning & Analysis, SC Reporting, Logistics, Sourcing, ESC FA- Contract Review - Oversight of inventory activities performed by internal and third-party-warehouse employees - Escalation point for accounting and control questions at each site **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** - Education - Full time graduation from an accredited university (Mandatory - Note: This is the minimum education criteria which cannot be altered) - Experience - 4 Years of related experience required **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** - Preferred years of related experience: 5 years - Preferred Major Area of Study: Finance, Analytics, Accountancy, Costing - Preferred Degree Requirements: Masters - Preferred Professional Certifications: CA, MBA **Specific Job Experience or Skills Needed** ESC experience is good to have. Should be able to manage supply chain functions for designated manufacturing locations. The responsibilities will involve: - Ensure financials are accurate and aligned with ESC SP budget - Approval of ESC toll rates and Journal Entries >$100M - Lead raw material usage calls with top tier ESC locations - Ensure proper accounting controls and procedures are followed - Provide support and insight to External Supply Chain Financial and Operations teams - Identify and communicate Risk and Opportunities to ESC Guidance Analyst - Participate in Strategic Partner Alliance meetings - Key point of contact between ESC Financial Analysts and Manufacturing Process Leads - Continually recommend action for system/business process improvements to increase productivity and reduce workload in department - Keep up-to-date on business/system enhancements and communicate to department - Coordinate or assistant in cross-functional projects - Capital (PPE and Lease) accounting lead for ESC and Manufacturing.
