Role Overview:
We are looking for a Social Media & Trend Spotting Intern who is obsessed with staying ahead of the curve. Your primary role will be to spot emerging trends, viral content ideas, and social media formats that can be leveraged for our clients. You will work closely with the content team to craft high-impact reels, engaging social media posts, and trend-driven campaigns that grow followers, increase engagement, and boost virality.

Key Responsibilities

Trend Spotting & Research:
Constantly monitor social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts) for trending reels, memes, challenges, sounds, and viral formats.

Stay updated on platform algorithm changes and how they impact content reach.

Track competitor brands and influencers to identify content strategies that work.

Creative Ideation & Content Planning:
Develop viral content ideas for reels and social posts based on trends.

Work closely with the content team to integrate trends into client content planscalendars.

Brainstorm with designers, video editors, and copywriters to execute creative ideas.

Content Execution & Optimization:
Suggest and help create reels that are highly shareable and engagement-driven.

Assist in crafting captions, hashtags, and hooks that maximize reach.

Analyze performance metrics to understand what works and refine content strategies.

Social Media Innovation:
Experiment with new formats (AI-generated content, interactive polls, AR filters, collabs, remixing trends, etc.).

Keep an eye on emerging content creators and viral pages for inspiration.

Pitch innovative ideas that push boundaries and make our clients stand out.

You live and breathe social media—you’re always on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube, knowing what’s trending before it becomes mainstream.

You have an eye for virality and can spot trends before they explode.

You love content creation—whether it’s scripting reels, finding hooks, or suggesting new video formats.

You’re a creative thinker who understands social media psychology (what makes people share and engage?).

You’re proactive, fast-moving, and always full of fresh ideas.

Bonus: If you have basic video editing skills or experience in content creation.
