**Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (civil engineer)**

**Job Type**:Full Time

**Experience**:5-6 years

**Pay Range**:From Rs.40000/

**Responsibilities**:

- **Cost Management**:

- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
- Evaluate tenders from contractors and subcontractors and, where appropriate, negotiate with the contractors.
- Control all stages of projects within predetermined budget and expenditure.
- Monitor and keep track of project progress and expenditures against forecasts.
- Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.
- Assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies.
- **Financial Reporting**:

- Prepare and analyze costing for tenders.
- Provide advice on contractual claims.
- Analyze outcomes and write detailed progress reports.
- Value completed work and arrange payments.
- **Risk Management**:

- Identify, analyze, and develop responses to commercial risks.
- Prepare and analyze costings for tenders.
- **Contract Management**:

- Allocate work to subcontractors.
- Provide advice on contractual claims.
- Analyze outcomes and write detailed progress reports.
- Value completed work and arrange payments.
- **Client Relations**:

- Develop and maintain relationships with clients.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients on all financial matters.
- **Legal Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with the legal requirements, particularly in relation to construction contracts.
- Keep track of changes to legislation and regulations and communicate these to relevant stakeholders.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other professionals, such as project managers, architects, and engineers, to ensure that all aspects of the project are coordinated effectively.
- Liaise with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g. Excel, QS software etc).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
