We are looking for a Job Profile Database Administrator I who will:

- Controls the activities related to database planning and development. 80% - Creates backups, edits indexes, and performs installations and upgrades. - Creates tables and assists in the design of the basic structure of the database. - Assists with establishing policies and procedures pertaining to database management, security, maintenance, and utilization. - Sets and monitors standards. % of Time: 80
- Job Responsibilities
- Confers with internal department managers regarding problems with and capabilities of various internally-used databases.
- Advises managers on database concepts and functional capabilities. - Recommends systems changes to programming management.
- May prepare periodic reports regarding unit's activities and goals attainment.
- Provides after-hours and on-call support for database events on a rotating schedule with the rest of the team.
