**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and administer databases.
- Collaborate with development teams to design, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries.
- Implement and maintain database backup and recovery strategies.
- Perform routine database monitoring, tuning, and performance optimization.
- Ensure data security and enforce database access controls.
- Install, configure, and upgrade Server software.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement data protection and disaster recovery plans.
- Develop and maintain documentation for database processes and procedures.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in database administration.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator, having experience in handling Oracle DB is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and associated tools.
- Strong understanding of database design, normalization, and optimization.
- Proficiency in database security, backup, and recovery processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- MS SQL: 5 years (required)
