The role will see you join a new, growing proposals team as a Proposal Administrator. This is great entry level opportunity for someone to build their career in work winning. Our investment in you brings the opportunity to progress to roles as set out in our Bids and Proposals Pathway such as Proposals Co-ordinator with enhanced responsibilities such as line management.
**Core Functions**:
Working within our Earth & Environment proposals team you will be:
- Providing administrative support to support production of responses at all stages of the work wining process, including RFI’s, tenders and presentations.
- Supporting pre-bid planning activities
- Support the wider Proposals Knowledge Management Strategy
- Provide administrative support to Earth and Environment Strategic Growth Lead
**Requirements**:
You should have:
- Excellent IT skills with good knowledge of MS Office software and desktop publishing software (Adobe In Design)
- Experience of team working as an effective team member
- Excellent command of written and verbal English

**Role responsibilities**:
Individual will lead, or support colleagues, in the following:
- Bid Production - Providing administrative support to production of responses at all stages of the work winning process, including capture planning, RFI’s, tenders and presentations.

- Liaise with contributors to bids to ensure they deliver their contributions to suit the bidding program.

- Work alongside the team on ad hoc data gathering and client research activities.

- Increase variety and access to “off the shelf” collateral for everyone in SBU engaging with knowledge management systems as appropriate.

- Assist in obtaining documents, tender queries and maintain tracker.
- Bid Production - support response development such as template development, formatting, CV and evidence collation
- Bid Process - Support with administration associated with governance (Authority to Pursue/Submit)
- Knowledge Management - support the bids and proposals knowledge strategy, including current initiatives such as Digital Bid
- Knowledge Management - Bid Breakdown - break down submitted bids and save into a shared folder ready for using in future bids
- Knowledge Management - Bid Feedback Register - Maintain a schedule of feedback updating as new submissions are completed.
