Product Owner for Dtn Squad

Monitoring & Screening Tribe is accountable for enabling real-time screening and retrospective monitoring of transactions and trade flows. We support the entire Group and play a central role in Danske Banks financial crime prevention within Anti Money Laundering, Counterterrorist financing, Sanctions risk mitigation and Fraud prevention. We are approx. 180 engaged colleagues located in three different countries, and we are now looking for a Product Owner to join the tribe.

**Functional leadership - motivate the team and projects**

As our new Product Owner, you will own a cutting edge monitoring and investigations solution that uses the latest technology within the data and analytics domain. Being tech savvy while having a good business understanding will help tremendously while navigating the complex stakeholder landscape, where you will also be part of pilot to take Danske Bank into a new era of technology.

As Product Owner, you will drive and prioritize the backlog through being in close dialogue with stakeholders to understand issues and needs, while you create outcomes and vision to support staying ahead of financial crime in the future.

You will not only be accountable for the delivery of the product - but also help improve test automation and improve the release cycle. You will direct and guide the Squad Members to deliver on the Product Backlog - though you will not have HR responsibilities.

**Understand the customers and fight financial crime**

A typical day would involve working with highly technical squad members, but also helping compliance experts, business owners or fellow product owners understand how the solution is used in the best way possible to help combat financial crime.

Typical questions could involve, how do we start a proof of concept? What data is available? Can we utilize the solution to fight financial crime in “this” aspect? Many of the questions you likely won’t be able to answer initially, but luckily there is a very capable squad to support you in the journey as a product owner.

**Use your technical and business understanding in an exciting role**

To do well in the role as Product Owner it is important that you can leverage your squad members, and have a good understanding of AML with focus on trading products. Besides that, we imagine that you have:

- Experience as Product Owner or Project Manager and can create and deliver on a product road map
- Experience with Transaction Monitoring
- A good understanding of trading products
- Knowledge of data sourcing
- Experience working in an Agile setup
- Ability to facilitate and present towards your squad and external stakeholders
- Understanding of a Software Release Process and Release practices
- Ability to manage the product backlog and prioritizing it based on changing requirements
- Ability to oversee all stages of product creation including design and development

In addition, although you are not required to build new monitoring flows yourself, it helps to be able to speak the lingo, so that things are not lost in translation.

This position can be located in several possible countries. If the position is located in Lithuania, the salary range will be from 4560 EUR to 6840 EUR monthly
