**Job Title**: TGT Social Science Facilitator

**Department**: Middle & Secondary School
**Reporting To**: Academic Coordinator / Head of Department
**Location**: Attapur

**Job Purpose**:
**Key Responsibilities: Teaching & Learning**:

- Plan and deliver Social Science lessons that are age-appropriate, interactive, and aligned with CBSE/NCERT curriculum.
- Develop lesson plans, assignments, and assessments that promote inquiry, analytical skills, and real-world connections.
- Use a variety of instructional strategies including discussions, debates, storytelling, map work, and projects.

**Curriculum Planning & Assessment**:

- Design formative and summative assessments to evaluate student learning outcomes effectively.
- Analyze assessment data to identify learning gaps and plan remedial/enrichment activities.
- Integrate interdisciplinary approaches to enhance relevance and engagement.

**Classroom Environment**:

- Create an inclusive, respectful, and stimulating classroom atmosphere.
- Maintain discipline and manage student behavior in alignment with school policies.
- Encourage student participation and self-expression in academic and co-curricular domains.

**Collaboration & Communication**:

- Engage with parents through PTMs, reports, and regular updates on student progress.
- Participate in school events, academic exhibitions, field trips, and community projects related to Social Science themes.

**Professional Development**:

- Stay updated with new teaching methodologies, curriculum changes, and policy updates.
- Attend training sessions, workshops, and in-house professional development programs.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Bachelor's/Master’s Degree in History/Geography/Political Science/Economics with B.Ed. (mandatory)
- Minimum 2-5 years of relevant teaching experience in middle or secondary school
- Familiarity with CBSE curriculum and NCERT textbooks
- Strong command of spoken and written English
- Competent in using digital teaching tools (e.g., Google Classroom, Smart Boards, etc.)

- Ability to relate Social Science concepts to real-world contexts
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills
- Creative, adaptable, and collaborative approach to teaching
- Strong organizational and time management skills

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
