**Job Title**: TGT Social Science Facilitator
**Reporting To**: Academic Coordinator / Principal
**Location**: Attapur, Hyderabad

**Job Purpose**:
To effectively facilitate the teaching and learning of Social Science (History, Geography, Civics, and Economics) for middle and secondary grade levels (typically Grades 6-8), aligning with the school’s academic vision, CBSE curriculum, and 21st-century learning goals.

**Key Responsibilities:Academic Delivery**:

- Plan and deliver engaging Social Science lessons using diverse teaching methods and appropriate resources.
- Prepare daily lesson plans, learning objectives, and assessment tools aligned with CBSE learning outcomes.
- Design and assess formative and summative assessments in accordance with school and board guidelines.
- Maintain a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity and critical thinking.

**Student Engagement and Support**:

- Encourage student participation through discussions, debates, role-plays, and field activities.
- Identify individual learning needs and provide differentiated support.
- Track and report student progress through regular feedback and performance reports.
- Promote responsible citizenship, democratic values, and cultural awareness.

**Curriculum and Planning**:

- Contribute to the development and review of curriculum documents, unit plans, and teaching materials.
- Integrate technology (e.g., smart boards, digital content, research tools) to enhance learning outcomes.

**Collaborative Responsibilities**:

- Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher meetings, open houses, and professional development programs.
- Contribute to school events, exhibitions, and field trips relevant to Social Science themes.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in History/Geography/Political Science/Economics with B.Ed. (mandatory)
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience teaching Social Science at the middle or secondary school level.
- Familiarity with CBSE curriculum and assessment practices.
- Proficient in English communication (spoken and written).
- Tech-savvy, with experience using digital teaching tools (Google Classroom, MS Teams, etc.)
