**Job Title**: Interim Chief Operating Officer (COO) - India Support Unit

**Salary**: ₹60,000 - ₹80,000 per month

Our client is a Dubai-headquartered early-stage AI company building a global operating system for human empowerment. While we prepare for our funding round, we are building a lean India-based support unit to anchor legal, operations, compliance, and delivery.

We are now hiring an **Interim COO (India)** to lead execution and coordination during this pre-funding phase.

**Role Overview**

The Interim COO will operate as a hands-on generalist, managing India operations, supporting company formation, handling compliance tasks, and collaborating with the founder on investor and fundraising preparation.

This is a **contract-based, interim role** designed to **bridge the pre-funding stage**, with the potential for future opportunities in Dubai post-funding.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operations & Company Setup
- Manage day-to-day India operations: HR, legal, finance, tech coordination, admin.
- Maintain task trackers, compliance calendars, and documentation logs
- Lead India entity incorporation and ROC/MCA setup
- Handle filings (DIR KYC, board minutes, Udyam/MSME, GST, TDS, vendor onboarding)
- Maintain statutory registers, ESOP ledger, and cap table snapshot.

**Dubai HQ Coordination**
- Sync India deliverables with Dubai HQ execution plans
- Prepare weekly reports, decision logs, and risk assessments
- Collaborate with legal and financial partners in Singapore and Dubai

**Investor & Fundraising Support**
- Help refine investor decks and pitch narratives
- Maintain investor data room (org charts, financial snapshots, policies)
- Prepare diligence packs for early-stage fundraising.

**Product Delivery Support**
- Coordinate vendors/freelancers to hit MVP milestones (Gate A-C)
- Track delivery across OS modules: Identity, Safety, Money, Influence, Humanity.

**Required Qualifications**
- 3-6 years of experience in **startup operations, business ops, or project management**:

- Strong knowledge of **India compliance**: ROC/MCA filings, GST, TDS, vendor contracts
- Experience in **company formation and statutory maintenance**:

- Familiarity with **fundraising process**: data rooms, cap tables, financial snapshots
- Proficient in **AI tools** and workflows: Notion, Zapier, n8n, Google Sheets, Airtable
- Fluent in **written and spoken English**; sharp follow-ups and documentation skills
- **Startup mindset**: resourceful, agile, and execution-oriented.

**Preferred Background**
- Former **Operations Manager, Business Head, or Junior COO** at a tech startup
- Comfortable managing **auditors, lawyers, secretaries, and external consultants**:

- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision in a lean team

**Compensation & Engagement**
- **Monthly Salary**: ₹60,000 - ₹80,000 (pre-funding budget range)
- **Contract Type**: Freelance / Consultant (under Company AI, Dubai entity)
- **Future Growth**: Eligible for transition to a **full-time senior role in Dubai post-funding.**

**Success Metrics**
- Clean setup and maintenance of **India legal entity**:

- All statutory filings submitted on time; no compliance slippage
- Accurate and live **investor documentation/data room**:

- MVP milestones met across vendors and internal stakeholders
- Predictable and well-logged operations, finance, and cashflow cycles.

**Note**

This is an **interim role** designed for Company AI’s pre-funding phase. Post-funding, a **Global COO** will be appointed in Dubai to lead operations at scale. The India COO will play a key part in laying the **operational and legal foundation** for global growth.
