**Job Requirements
**The Agile Product Owner works to fulfill the strategic product roadmap established by the Client Product Management leadership team and meet business objectives. The person in this position manages multiple teams and backlogs for more than one product and/or for more complex products. This role is responsible for defining the detailed product deliverables. The Product Owner must have a firm understanding of the business domain and product needs taking into account multiple types of users utilizing each solution. This position works closely with engineering on the specifications to ensure their Agile teams have all of the information needed to deliver a product that provides maximum value to the users.
**Work Experience**
- Strong knowledge of Agile principles (SAFe preferred) and process
- 8 - 12 years of experience in Product development
- Collaborate with Product Managers to understand the market demands, priorities, and overall product strategy.
- Work with one or more engineering teams to deliver timely, quality releases that provide high business value and exceed customer expectations.
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
- Work with the Product Manager and Agile team to define the scope included in a release.
- Create detailed specifications/requirements for the product features so they are clearly understood by the development team.
- Write user stories and establish acceptance criteria in collaboration with the team.
- Actively participate in PI planning, product sprints and daily stand-up meetings
- Be aware of customer commitments to communicate internally to assist with managing team expectations
- Manage dependencies in and across sprints and releases
- Work with the Agile team to manage and prioritize the backlog to ensure alignment with changing business needs.
- Prioritize support work as needed
- Assist with system status communication and escalation as needed including customer communication
- Perform demos to all stakeholders on a regular basis
- Use metrics and feedback to improve team and organization processes, best practices, performance, and delivery
- May provide work direction or guidance to colleagues with less experience
- Act as a product champion within the company
