- Preferably should have working experience in Oil & Gas Industry (EPC) or Pump / Compressor Industry
- Good written and oral communication skills and presentations skills.
- Ability to negotiate successfully with vendor, clients and contractors through engineering, Procurement and construction phases of the project.
- Possess strong techno-commercial knowledge on procurement of technically complex equipment, Mechanical & Process packages / materials for EPC industry
- Possess strong project execution & estimation skills
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills and meticulous.
- Mature, proactive, resourceful, hands-on with good initiatives and ability to leverage organizational resources.
- Able to work fast under pressure and willing to make tough decisions.
- Computer literate and ability to work in SAP environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and varying priorities

ROLE DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ensure competitive pre-bid estimation support is provided to proposals team for a project win.
- Ensure all RFQ/Offers from Vendors are sent / received and compiled in the required format
- Coordinate with the technical services / Engg. Team for technical evaluation of vendor offers and early resolution of all technical queries with all parties

e.g. Vendors / Engg. / QA
- Ensure technical bid analysis is completed as per project schedule
- Prepare commercial bid analysis
- Negotiate with vendors / subcontractors / engg consultants / fabricators for a best techno-commercial deal and fully complying to the general purchase conditions, delivery requirements & payment terms
- Establish a project schedule for engineering, procurement of bought-out components, fabrication, assembly and testing with vendor and ensure implementation of the same
- Ensure effective co-ordination within the procurement & planning team and to its external interfaces e.g. Engineering Consultant and Fabrication Yard.
- Monitors engineering & procurement schedules to ensure that the procurement deliverables are scheduled to meet fabrication (Yard) requirements.
- Provides weekly reports on procurement progress, informs management on areas of concern, advises remedial actions and alternatives to maintain the schedule.
- Monitors contractors’, vendors' and sub-contractors’ schedules with active interaction to ensure that the project has a realistic and achievable construction

schedule.
- Responsible for and plans, organizes and manages the procurement process for the Project.
- Interface with other LTHE departments and vendors for all matters related to the procurement of Projects materials, equipment and services scope.
- Handle and manage Project RFQ’s, commercial evaluations, PO award and PO administration to final delivery and PO close out.
- Ensure effective purchasing of Project material / services in accordance with Project or end user schedules, specifications and budgets.
- Provide procurement support for Bids, and when necessary, participate in bid reviews and evaluations.
- Evaluate vendor performance on continuous basis.
- Monitor and review market conditions and price & delivery trends for Project materials and equipment.
