**About the job**:

- Create and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
- Execute test cases to verify software functionality across different platforms, browsers, and devices.
- Identify, document, and report defects using defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla). Track issues through to resolution, providing detailed information to the development team.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that previously developed and tested software still works after changes or updates.
- Ensure that software integrates correctly with other systems, databases, and services by performing integration testing.
- Support UAT by verifying that the system meets the business requirements and that the product is ready for deployment.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and other cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, business logic, and technical specifications.
- Record and track testing results, providing regular feedback to development teams, and contributing to reports for stakeholders.
- Suggest process improvements to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the QA process.
- Conduct exploratory testing to uncover edge cases or areas not fully covered by test cases.
- Ensure the test environments are set up correctly, and software builds are validated before testing.
- Experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP) is a plus.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) to aid in understanding the development cycle.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and DevOps process

**About you**:

- 2+ years of experience in manual software testing in an enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), particularly in Agile or Scrum environments.
- Solid experience in creating detailed test cases, test plans, and executing them manually.
- Proficient in identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
- Strong understanding of functional, non-functional, and regression testing techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to spot discrepancies between expected and actual results.
- Good understanding of SQL for validating data and performing database testing.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple test cases or projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to report issues clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
