**Position Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Instruction and Curriculum Delivery**:

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in English literature, grammar, and writing.
- Develop and implement creative teaching strategies to enhance student learning.
- Prepare students for board examinations and other academic assessments.
- **Student Engagement and Support**:

- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and a love for reading and writing.
- Provide academic support and individualized instruction as needed.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Regularly evaluate student progress through tests, assignments, and projects.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
- **Collaboration and Professional Development**:

- Work collaboratively with colleagues to align teaching methods and goals.
- Participate in professional development programs and training sessions.
- Contribute to school events, activities, and initiatives.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- **Educational Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Literature, or a related field.
- A B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification is mandatory.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience at the high school level, preferably in CBSE, ICSE, or international curricula.
- **Skills**:

- Strong command of the English language and excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in modern teaching methods and educational technology.
- Ability to manage a diverse classroom and adapt teaching strategies.
- **Personal Attributes**:

- Passionate about teaching and inspiring students.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset.
