**Job Title: Head of Department (HOD) - Telugu**

**Job Purpose**:
To lead and oversee the Telugu Department across assigned branches, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and academic excellence. The HOD will plan, implement, and monitor academic activities, assessments, and teacher development programs while supporting curriculum enhancement initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities: Academic Planning & Execution**
- Prepare **Day-wise Schedules**, **Portion Plans**, and **Examination Schedules**:

- Develop and review **Question Papers**, **Practice Papers**, **Block Test Material**, **Bridge Course Material**, and **Holiday Homework**.
- Ensure timely and effective implementation of curriculum across all branches.

**Teacher Training & Development**
- Conduct and coordinate **Professional Enhancement Programmes (PEP)** and **Teachers’ Training Sessions**.
- Organize **Guest Lectures** and interactive sessions to enhance teaching methodologies.

**Academic Monitoring & Support**
- Conduct **Branch Visits** and **Franchise Academic Reviews** to monitor teaching quality and syllabus completion.
- Meet with teachers regularly to guide, mentor, and evaluate classroom performance.
- Oversee **MYJO Implementation** and **MYJO Book Reviews** to ensure quality learning resources.

**Recruitment & Evaluation**
- Participate in the **Recruitment Process** — including conducting **Demos**, **Interviews**, **Question Paper Setting**, and **Answer Script Evaluation**.
- Support the induction and orientation of new Telugu teachers.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree in **Telugu** with B.Ed
- Minimum **5-7 years** of teaching experience
- Strong understanding of curriculum standards
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
