**Job Description: Quality Control Engineer**

**Location**: Sanand
**Experience**: 2-5 Years

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Quality Control Inspections**:

- Inspect incoming raw materials (e.g., stainless steel coils) for compliance with chemical, mechanical, and surface finish specifications.
- Monitor production processes including tube cutting, forming, welding, heat treatment, and finishing to detect and correct quality deviations.
- Perform in-process inspections for dimensions, tolerances, and surface finishes using tools like calipers, micrometers, and other measurement systems.
- Conduct final inspections including visual checks, dimensional checks, and pressure tests to meet customer and industry standards.
- **Quality Data Analysis and Reporting**:

- Collect, analyze, and report on quality data, defects, and process variations.
- Monitor and report on KPIs related to product quality and process efficiency.
- Perform root cause analysis on quality issues and implement corrective actions to minimize defects.
- **Quality System Maintenance**:

- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and customer-specific requirements.
- Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
- Assist with internal and external quality audits.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to improve processes and reduce waste.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Identify and implement continuous improvements in quality processes.
- Stay updated on best practices and new quality technologies.
- Participate in training to enhance quality control skills and knowledge.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Materials Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment, preferably in metals.
- Knowledge of quality control methodologies (e.g., statistical process control, root cause analysis).
- Proficient in using measuring and testing equipment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ASTM, ASME).

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with stainless steel manufacturing.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
- Familiarity with data analysis software and statistical tools.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Fixed shift
- US shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sanand, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
