**Job description**:

- Handle employment litigation independently
- To Design / Vet various HR Policies as per Labour Legislation;
- Advise on Labour Law & Employees Grievance related matters;
- Draft, review and negotiate a variety of Project Agreements, commercial transactions, including NDAs, procurement contracts, work orders, and contract amendments. Review of Tender Documents;
- Manage commercial transactions from a legal/contracting perspective;
- Participate in legal matters and projects including identifying legal and regulatory compliance issues;
- Liaise with external consultants and government/regulatory authorities;
- Anticipate and guard against legal risks;
- Research legal issues;
- Special projects on an as-needed basis;
- Furnishing the annual returns and forms according to the Companies Law;
- Legal advice on common law jurisdiction matters for India & abroad.

**Education**
- Law graduate from a reputable institution/university in India.

**Relevant work experience**
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a law firm or in-house corporate legal department;
- Experience in drafting and reviewing documents for routine commercial transactions to expedite negotiation and conclude deals;
- A team player who relates well with management and counterparties;
- Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation and presentation skills with the ability to effectively interact with numerous business units;

**Knowledge required**
- Good knowledge of commercial contract and company laws and experience with supporting deals for global entities;
- Basic understanding of relevant laws such as labour laws, company laws;
- In-depth functional knowledge with an eye for detail;
- Sound analytical skills to review information and identify issues;
- Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels;
- Good drafting, negotiation and transactional skills;
- Ability to work well independently; and
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
