M M Legal Associate is a leading provider of legal services, specializing in discovery and litigation support for law firms and corporate legal departments. We offer innovative solutions and advanced technology to streamline the discovery process and help our clients manage complex litigation efficiently and cost-effectively.
As a Discovery Process Associate, you will be responsible for supporting the discovery phase of litigation projects by managing the collection, review, and production of electronic and physical documents. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- **Document Collection and Preservation**: Assisting in the identification, collection, and preservation of electronically stored information (ESI) and physical documents relevant to litigation matters, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- **Document Review and Analysis**: Conducting document review and analysis using eDiscovery platforms and tools to identify responsive documents, privileged materials, and key evidence for litigation strategy development.
- **Data Processing and Management**: Managing the processing, indexing, and organization of large volumes of electronic data and documents, including data deduplication, file format conversion, and metadata extraction.
- **Quality Control and Assurance**: Performing quality control checks on reviewed documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency in coding and tagging, and resolving discrepancies as needed.
- **Document Production and Disclosure**: Assisting in the preparation and production of documents for discovery requests, including drafting privilege logs, redacting sensitive information, and coordinating with legal teams for review and approval.
- **Project Management and Reporting**: Supporting project managers in coordinating discovery projects, tracking project timelines and milestones, and generating status reports and metrics for internal and external stakeholders.
- **Technology Utilization and Innovation**: Staying current with eDiscovery technologies and best practices to optimize efficiency and effectiveness in the discovery process, and contributing to the implementation of process improvements and workflow enhancements.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in LAW
- 3 years of experience in discovery and litigation support, preferably in a law firm or legal services environment.
- Proficiency in eDiscovery platforms and software (e.g., Relativity, Nuix, Concordance).
- Strong understanding of litigation processes, rules of evidence, and discovery procedures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and interact with clients and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Familiarity with data privacy and cybersecurity principles and practices is a plus.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
Supplemental pay types:
