Job Description: Admission Counselor & Academic Coordinator

Role Summary
The Admission Counselor & Academic Coordinator is a multifaceted role responsible for driving the school's enrollment goals while ensuring the smooth and efficient management of the academic calendar, curriculum delivery, and student support services. This role serves as a key link between prospective families, current students, faculty, and administration, ensuring alignment with the school's commitment to Quality Education and Academic Excellence.
I. Key Responsibilities: Admission Counseling (70%)
The primary focus is to manage the entire admissions lifecycle, promote the school's value proposition, and achieve enrollment targets.
- Admissions Management:

- Manage and execute the complete admission process from inquiry and registration to assessment, interview scheduling, and final enrollment (for grades Pre-Nursery to Class 12, as per school needs).
- Maintain and manage the prospective student database, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Sales & Marketing:

- Act as the first point of contact for prospective parents, providing comprehensive information about the school's curriculum (State Board), facilities, faculty, and philosophy.
- Conduct campus tours and presentations to highlight the school's focus on critical creative thinking skills and overall development.
- Implement strategies to increase enrollment and meet admission quotas.
- Relationship Building:

- Build strong relationships with parents, addressing their queries, concerns, and helping them make an informed decision about their child's education.
- Ensure a positive and welcoming experience for all visitors and potential BTHS families.
- Documentation & Compliance:
II. Key Responsibilities: Academic Coordination (30%)
The secondary focus is to assist the school administration in coordinating academic activities, especially those related to student progress and special programs.
- Curriculum Support:

- Coordinate with the Principal and faculty on the implementation of the State Board curriculum and integration of co-curricular activities.
- Assist in scheduling and organizing school-wide academic events, parent-teacher meetings, and assessments.
- Student Progress & Remedial Programs:

- Assist in identifying academically weak students and coordinate the scheduling and execution of Subject-wise Remedial and Special Classes to ensure re-enforcement of core concepts.
- Monitor student attendance and academic performance, reporting trends to the Principal and relevant teachers.
- Faculty Liaison:

- Assist in coordinating internal communication regarding academic deadlines, meeting schedules, and policy updates among the teaching staff.
- Talent Tests:

- Support the organization and execution of special academic programs like the H.J. Talent Tests for students in Grades 1 to 10.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Proven experience (2+ years) in school administration, admissions, counseling, or academic coordination, preferably in a high school setting.
- Core Competencies:

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), particularly in English and Telugu/Hindi, for effective engagement with diverse parents.
- Strong interpersonal and sales/counseling skills with a persuasive and empathetic approach.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic experience with school management software/CRM is a plus.
- Familiarity with the Telangana State Board curriculum and academic standards is highly desirable.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
