**Roles and Responsibility**

**Job Description**:
Skill: MS SQL Database admin

Work Location: Noida/Gurugram/Bangalore

Exp:5-8 yrs

SQL DBA L2/L3
- 1. Failover Clustering understanding + Always on handson
- 2. SQL Server 2005 till 2019 database administration
- 3. Database Replication (Transitional + Peer to Peer)
- 4. Basic SQL troubleshooting and performance issues
- 5. Incident/Problem/Change tickets handling
- 6. Participate in DR activity based on DR solution i.e Always on/Logshipping etc
- 7. Some working experience on Powershell.
- 8. Some Knowledge on AWS\Azure EC2 instance and RDS based databases

9.hands on Experience on Microsoft SQL 2005 and later

10.Strong proficiency with Microsoft TSQL, and ideally its variants in other popular RDBMS

11.Skilled at optimizing large complicated SQL statements

12.Knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational databases

13.Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server merge and transactional replication
