**Job Title: Patisserie Kitchen Assistant**
**Job Summary**: The Patisserie Kitchen Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the patisserie kitchen. This position involves assisting pastry chefs in the preparation and production of high-quality pastries and desserts, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the patisserie.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Food Preparation**:
Assist in measuring, weighing, and preparing ingredients for pastries and desserts. Follow recipes and instructions provided by pastry chefs.
- **Baking Assistance**:
Support pastry chefs during the baking and assembly of various pastries. Operate baking equipment and machinery under the guidance of kitchen staff.
- **Cleaning and Organization**:
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area. Wash and sanitize utensils, equipment, and work surfaces regularly.
- **Ingredient Management**:
Monitor ingredient stocks and inform the kitchen supervisor of replenishment needs. Organize and store ingredients according to established procedures.
- **Kitchen Operations**:
Collaborate with pastry chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure a smooth workflow. Communicate effectively with team members to facilitate efficient kitchen operations.
- **Quality Control**:
Conduct quality checks on ingredients and finished products. Report any deviations or issues to kitchen management.
- **Packaging and Delivery**:
Responsible for packaging finished pastries and desserts.
Assist in coordinating and preparing orders for delivery.
- **Compliance with Health and Safety Standards**:
Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations. Follow proper procedures for handling, storing, and disposing of food.
- **Support for Pastry Chefs**:
Provide assistance to pastry chefs as needed. Take on additional tasks or responsibilities as directed by kitchen management.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a pastry or bakery setting.
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and baking principles.
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
**Physical Requirements**:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
**Education**:
- Graduate / Diploma in Culinary Skills.
**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
