**Your Role and Responsibilities**
- Scheduling new jobs in CTRL-M and aiding for creating complex scheduling scenarios.
- Providing Support for scheduling issues.
- Creating Calendars as requested by customer and updating calendars for each year.
- Maintaining the Master updates.
- Creating various CMEM triggers.
- Calendars maintenance.
- Load and run OTS jobs and Performing quote requests for temporary job schedule change.
- Provided 24/7 On-Call Coverage for any critical issues in Production environment related to scheduling and migration problems. ISPW/XLR (TOPAZ).
- Promoting Containers / packages to production.
- Backout/Revert Containers / packages and changing Install date and time as per request.
- Performing request for temporary fix in Production.
- Change Man Creating and Promoting Change Man packages to production.
- Backout/Revert packages and changing Install date and time as per request.
- Performing request for temporary fix in Production.
- PANVALET Promoting packages to production from test region to production.
- Compile and Bind through the various regions.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Minimum 6+ years’ experience in Mainframes batch and console operations Proficient in MVS, COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, CICS and other Mainframe related Tools for Batch.
- Environment Experience in scheduling on-request batch jobs that require immediate execution.
- Experience in working on console.
- Ability to invoke resolution and restart procedures in case of failures in the batch jobs.
- Mainframe System Knowledge, Basics of Mainframe operations, networking.
- Expertise on monitoring tools like IBM Omega Mon, CA Insight, BMC Main view etc.
- Good Knowledge on z/OS and DB2 system performance tuning methods.

**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**
- Working knowledge on Mainframes job operations tools such as CA7 / Control-MYou love collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies.
- Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management.
- Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications.
