Job Title**:Payment Collection Specialist**

**Position Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Collections Management**: Monitor and manage accounts with overdue payments, ensuring collections are completed promptly and effectively.
- **Account Review & Dispute Resolution**: Review customer accounts to identify any billing discrepancies or issues and work with internal departments to resolve disputes efficiently.
- **Payment Negotiation**: Work closely with customers to establish payment plans, settlements, and extensions while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- **Reporting & Documentation**: Maintain detailed records of collection activities, payment agreements, and any customer communication. Provide regular reports on overdue accounts and collection status to management.
- **Compliance**: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, company policies, and procedures related to collections.
- **Customer Service**: Provide a high level of customer service by addressing any concerns or questions regarding payments and maintaining professional relationships with clients.
- **System Updates**: Keep accounting and CRM systems updated with the latest payment status and communication history.

**Qualifications**
- **Education**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- **Experience**:

- Proven experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a related field (1-3 years preferred).
- Experience with customer service, debt recovery, and dispute resolution is a plus.
- **Skills**:

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality.

**Personal Attributes**
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage customer relationships professionally.
- Ability to stay calm and composed in challenging or high-pressure situations.
- High level of organization and time-management skills.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a proactive approach.
- Proficiency in handling collections in **at least two languages** other than Tamil and English is mandatory.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
