Job Title: Collection Executive - Medical Lab Services

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible individual to join our team as a Collection Executive in the Medical Lab Services department. The primary responsibility of this role is to efficiently and professionally collect samples from patients, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established procedures. The Collection Executive will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and integrity of the specimens collected for diagnostic testing.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Sample Collection**:

- Conduct sample collections from patients in accordance with established protocols.
- Ensure proper patient identification and verify all relevant information before sample collection.
- Follow aseptic techniques and maintain a clean and organized work environment during sample collection.
- **Customer Interaction**:

- Interact with patients in a courteous and professional manner.
- Provide clear instructions to patients regarding sample collection procedures.
- Address any patient concerns or inquiries regarding the collection process.
- **Documentation**:

- Accurately document and label each specimen collected.
- Maintain detailed records of collected samples, including patient information and collection date.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Ensure the integrity and quality of collected samples by following established guidelines.
- Report any deviations from standard procedures and assist in investigating and resolving issues.
- **Compliance**:

- Adhere to all relevant safety, health, and compliance regulations.
- Stay informed about changes in regulations related to sample collection and implement necessary adjustments.
- **Equipment Maintenance**:

- Perform routine maintenance checks on collection equipment.
- Report any malfunctioning equipment for prompt repairs or replacements.
- **Collaboration**:

- Coordinate with laboratory staff to ensure timely and accurate transportation of collected samples to the testing facility.
- Work collaboratively with other Collection Executives to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in sample collection, preferably in a medical or laboratory setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and empathy.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and understanding of basic medical procedures.

GRADUATION: any degree or diploma or DMLT
